Prep: Buff the natural nail, cleanse with pH Bonder, and apply Non-Acidic Primer (optional).
For Natural Nails:
Base: Apply Aprés Base Gelcoat or Base Gelcoat X and cure for 30 sec (LED).
Color or Art: Apply 1–2 coats of Aprés Gel Couleur or complete nail art; cure each layer for 30 sec.
Builder Top Gelcoat:
Apply one coat of Builder Top Gelcoat.
Flash cure from a distance for 10–15 seconds to reduce heat spike, then fully cure for 60 seconds (LED).
For Gel-X®:
Complete your Gel-X® application and nail art, apply Builder Top Gelcoat, and cure for 60 seconds (LED).

I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve used Apres new Builder Gel Top Coat on every single client since it showed up at my door!! It hasn’t left my desk.
The thicker consistency makes everything easier. If a nail isn’t perfectly leveled, has a tiny dip, or just needs to feel a little fuller, this smooths it out in seconds without feeling bulky. And might I add it makes my Cateye pop!!! I don’t have to add another full layer of builder or overthink structure. I just float it on and it does the work.
It’s also been amazing over textured nail art, brush strokes, chrome, and small embellishments because it softens everything without drowning the design. I’ve even been using it on Gel-X to add a little uuummph to the clients that want a fuller look or simply need more stregth. It doesn’t complicate soak-offs since you file it down during removal anyway. It’s simply one of those products that makes life behind the desk easier and the final result look more refined. If your questioning buying it. I say trust your gut and try it out for yourself! <3
This definitely lives up to the name of “Builder”, it’s quite thick but stick levels beautifully. I’m currently waiting to see how holds after 3 weeks.

Your time saver ✨. It can seal chrome, deasigns, creating a smooth, stronger top layer leaving no textures from encapsulates. Non wipe builder, which you can create 3d arts, either clear or mix with Apres Gel Colors and no need tocoat. 🫶🫶
I am in love with this product! It self levels and creates the most beautiful easy encapsulation AND saves me time by removing the topcoat step. A must have for all nail techs.
