These tips make ombre so easy to achieve! All you need is a semi-sheer nude to go on top, and there ya go. I’m seriously impressed. They cured completely but I did notice it took a little longer to cure. With clear tips after 10 seconds I can move onto the next, I had to hold these around 20-30 seconds. I cured from the underside of my nail as well just to make sure it all cured. They’re so strong also!! The new tip shape is incredible. I love how thick the free edge is. The old gel x tips are so flimsy, these aren’t! Although, it’s disappointing how FEW tips you get in this box. Less than 500 for the price is kind of crazy. But it does cut out a lot of work for us, so win/lose I suppose.
I love these tips! I’ve used this brand for a while now and these are my favorite. Following the YouTube video for how to get the ombré just right helped a lot. I will be using these often, especially for events or the weeks I have a lot of meetings. These will be a staple in my nail collection. Pictures are from my first time doing the ombré. With my practice I know they will be perfect.
The nails are pretty and quite innovative. However, the nail tip is quite thick at the tip which I find a bit abnormal and annoying. In addition, the sides of the nail are very narrow and won't fit over the whole nail bed even when I use the right size nail. My nails are not an abnormal size, so this is not just a me problem. I saw someone else say the same thing about the short version of these nails. I am going to try to get the round version of these nails, but I don't really recommend the ombre almond tips. I think you would be better off getting one of the other shapes like coffin so the nail bed is more normal nail sized. For $20 a box of nail tips I am a bit disappointed, this is my first time buying from this brand.
